A-WOL invites you to enjoy this summer’s signature aerial event, Art in the Dark, bringing back an audience favorite - Drop of a Hat! This is a story of an unqualified group of 9-to-5ers turned circus troupe by happenstance, revealing a production of dreams mixed with drama that comes about in any large group of humans. A lion that refuses to be tamed, an aerialist confused about love, a magician whose tricks fall flat, a poodle quite good on a cyr wheel and some sneaky stagehands who secretly set out to steal the show are just a few of the shenanigans that you’ll witness in the magical setting of the Mary S Young Park. Come experience all the traditional circus fun combined with the inventive spirit and impressive feats A-WOL is known for.

Suspended in trees, surrounded by beauty and illuminated by the stars...A-WOL's Art in the Dark annual performance is a fantastical, illuminated, full-length, evening production set in a unique and rare outdoor theater-style setting. Transforming a dirt plot into a performance spot, each show is packed with the flavor of the Northwest and a wonderful taste of the talent this area has to offer! Come see why A-WOL grabbed the attention of OPB's "Oregon Art Beat" during the 2012 season! Last year's show sold out entirely - get your ticket early.
Art in the Dark is enjoyed by all ages (children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket).

Pre-show: guests are invited to arrive early and purchase snacks and beverages from us or enjoy your own picnic. Entry opens at 7:30. Show begins around dark.
