Jessica Thomas, Performer 2004
“Satiation Magician”
Director of Catering
Jessica Thomas began dancing before she was even out of the womb. Her mother was her very first dance teacher, and taught dance throughout her entire pregnancy. With dance being part of her blood, she continued her training as a young woman with Oregon Ballet Theater, Mary Hunt, Damon and Demetrius Keller, and Karl Mundt as her dance team coach at the University of Oregon. She began dancing with A-WOL Dance Collective in the summer of 2004 where she continued as an active company member for three years. In 2007 she moved to the sunny desert heat of Scottsdale, Arizona. Dance was in just as much of a drought as the rain there, so she opted for fulfilling her creative love for movement by getting her yoga certification. She taught yoga in Arizona for about a year, and now has returned to her home of Portland, Oregon to begin dancing with A-WOL once again. Jessica could not be happier to be swinging from the rafters, trees, and dancing with all of the most wonderful and talented group of women and friends whom she has ever met!
