Emily recently moved to Portland from Paris where she was living, teaching, modeling, and exploring life as an artist. Originally from Missoula, Montana she graduated from the University of Montana in 2003 with a BFA in Choreography and Performance in Dance. Her professional career began with the Freshe Tracks Dance Company where she choreographed and performed for seven years in their annual “Leather Forever” show produced by Harley Davidson Motorcycles. After graduation Emily spent four years in Los Angeles where she performed nationally and internationally as a company member of Vox Dance Theatre, worked with Method Contemporary Dance on their world premier show Supercedure, and taught and performed as a company member for Diavolo. Emily has multiple professions, which she categorizes under the title Movement Inspired.
