Angela Bryant was born in Marshalltown, Iowa. She began taking dance at the age of 2, and started gymnastics shortly there after. During middle and high school she was on a JumpRope team, sponsored by the American heart association, and performed frequently throughout the state of Iowa and also internationally. Angela found A-WOL at the age of 33. As she advanced as a student, she chose to audition for, and was accepted into, FlyCo– A-WOL’s pre-professional training company. Currently she is one of FlyCo’s coaches, a member of A-WOL’s Circus Rose performance company, and also a performer with Tempos Contemporary Circus troupe.
Ula Janik was born in Warsaw, Poland, grew up in Alabama, and has been a Portland resident for 12 years. While she always dabbled in dance, taking a variety of classes throughout the years, nothing really spoke to her until she took her first aerial class at A-WOL in 2011. She's been obsessed ever since. Ula completed 2 years in A-WOL's training company FlyCo and loves performing with her fellow Circus Rosies.
With a background in gymnastics and rock climbing, aerial arts only came naturally to Sara. She completed two years of training with A-WOL's pre-professional training company FlyCo and then began teaching and performing for A-WOL. She now performs at various venues throughout Portland and is the Youth Director at A-WOL and coach of Aeros.
